Private reference only. Porterville Residents Directory is not a government office or records custodian. It cannot pull records, certify copies, confirm who lives at an address, or remove a name from a roll. For an emergency, call 911. If records are being used to stalk or harass you, contact local police.
Finding the Right Record Office
Use the directory page that matches the question before contacting an office:
- Street or parcel: use the Porterville street directory for assessor, GIS, deed, permit, and historical address routes.
- Old volumes: use the Porterville directory book for the library shelf, years, reverse sections, and newspaper clues.
- One person: use the Porterville resident lookup for property, court, vital, license, business, and privacy limits.
- Records not online: name an existing record, department, address, and date span in a request under the California Public Records Act.
